September and October are expected to be the busiest of them all with OEMs like Realme, Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo launching a series of smartphones before the festive Diwali season.

We have Google and Huawei getting ready to bring their latest flagship phones over the next few weeks as well. With so many phones crowding up the market in India, we try to pick out some of the best of them from different price segments to help you decide which phone you should buy.

Best phones under Rs 10,000

Realme 5: Rs 9,999

Realme 5 was launched in India recently alongside the Realme 5 Pro. These are some of the first quad camera phones to launch in the budget segments. The Realme 5, in particular, is the only phone to offer four rear cameras under Rs 10,000, which makes it a unique phone already. In addition to this, the phone also sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1600) dewdrop display, a crystal design, Snapdragon 665 SoC and a large 5,000mAh battery.

Redmi Note 7S: Rs 9,999

With the Redmi Note 7S, Xiaomi brought the trendy 48MP camera to the sub-Rs 10,000 segment. The dual camera setup on the back includes a 48MP Samsung GM1 sensor paired with a 5MP depth sensor. HMD Global has been doing well in delivering timely updated to its portfolio, and the Nokia 4.2 has also been confirmed to receive Android 10 in Q1 2020. Xiaomi Mi A3: Rs 12,999

Xiaomi hasn’t launched a lot of new phones in the sub-Rs 15,000 this year, but the ones that it has are pretty great options even now. Motorola has been focusing a lot on its One-series in India. Phones under this lineup, like the One Action, have offered stock Android One software along with some unique features.
